Most steel shops run on spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools. Flawless Steel Welding builds its own software and automates the shop floor — so commercial projects run on better information, tighter tolerances, and a quality record you can actually see.

A different kind of steel shop

While the industry buys its tools, FSW builds them.

Structural steel is a traditional business, and most fabricators run it the traditional way — spreadsheets for bids, binders for quality, and a phone call when someone needs to know where a piece of steel is. FSW took a different path: we build our own software, automate the shop floor, and put AI to work where it earns its keep. Not for the marketing — for the project. As far as we know, no other commercial steel fabricator is doing all three — building its own software, automating its shop, and running both on real projects today. We plan to stay in front.

We build our own software

Most fabricators buy a generic project tool and bend their work to fit it. FSW wrote its own. Flawless Hub is a construction-management platform built in-house that tracks every piece of steel from the detailer's model through fabrication to field erection — with quality recorded down to the weld.

We automate the shop

A robotic beam-welding cell produces consistent, repeatable production welds — in one recent run, 28 feet of 5/16-inch fillet weld in about 45 minutes — while FSW's certified welders focus on the complex connections that need a human eye. Every weld is recorded as robot or hand-made.

We put AI to work

AI-assisted change-order drafting, AI-assisted project forms, and AI document search across FSW's 8,500-plus-document quality system — plus Agent Ironman, FSW's in-house assistant for bidding and engineering.
